Abstract
Visual information, which is one of the essential and highly developed senses in human, is conveyed to the most part of whole cerebral cortex after the retino-geniculo-striatal pathway. The information is dispersed, condensed, processed, and recombined during going through multiple interconnections between functional areas in the cerebral cortex. Therefore, the cortical disorder associated with processing of visual information can bring about not only identifying the shape or color of the objects, but also variable cortical visual symptoms.
